Nokia Contemplates sale of HERE Maps

Bloomberg reports that Nokia is contemplating the sale of HERE maps business to a group of “German carmakers”.

 

However, Nokia seems to be dissatisfied with the price being offered and wants the group, which consists of Audi AG, BMW AG and Daimler AG, to increase the offer otherwise they will not sell. The Bid for the business is still on as the Finnish company, which seeks as much as $4 billion for the unit is welcoming more bids, due this week end.
