As a young professional or a family person, you need that awesome sofa, dinner set and a proper bedroom to keep your body refreshed after a long day at work. The stress of going from showroom to showrooms might get you settle for less.
I found an interesting startup working to bring furniture showrooms online and I think they have something awesome up their sleeves. Showroom.ng will give you access to thousands of furniture right on your computer or mobile phone and all you need do is click away to find interesting ones to buy.

I had a chat with the founder, who is an expert in E-commerce and built his first E-commerce platform in 2005 - there were only 500,000 Nigerians on the internet, and asked what they intend to achieve with the platform;

…see, Wale the future is here! People don’t want to walk the length and breadth of Lagos or any state across the federation (nor import from far away US) to find furniture they will appreciate and love. They want to see it and buy it right away! Besides, every commerce that is currently running offline, will definitely come online. So, being a passionate group when it comes furniture, good looking homes and office environments, we think we have found something that we can pour our passion and experience into; to bring furniture showrooms to the doorstep of persons like us across Nigeria. If not now, then when?

Those were his enthusiastic words. Showroom.ng will open its shop to the public come next week Monday, 26th of January. And hey, here's hoping that they bring as much passion to their customer service as they brought to the chat with me.

The Showroom.ng landing page is live and they're giving discount to every e-mail dropped. What do you think? Do you think these guys can pull this off?
