With a sudden 12.9% jump, Solana (SOL) is inspiring a great deal of confidence among crypto investors. Not to be outdone, JetBolt (JBOLT), a new project that’s still in its early phase continues to shine, even giving early cues that it may be the next coin to explode.

Following is a discussion on SOL’s current bullish price performance. We also delve into why JBOLT is eliciting tons of attention across the cryptosphere right now.

Is Solana’s 12.9% price jump a sign of better things to come?

Solana (SOL) token holders have good reason to celebrate. The network that gained popularity for being one of the best platforms for scalability decentralized finance (DeFi) solutions is reflecting a 12.9% price jump in September 2024. Looking more and more like a token on a mission to further regain the trust of the Solana community, SOL is at $147.75, with a market cap at just over $67 billion at the time of this writing.

This weekend’s Solana Breakpoint event held in Singapore may be a key driver of SOL’s current price momentum. The two-day conference generated a lot of excitement and boosted the confidence of Solana investors as future developments for the network were announced.

Over the past weeks, Solana has continued to attract increasing interest from institutional investors. At Solana Breakpoint, Oregon-based Asymmetric Financial revealed that it had made a significant investment in BONK late last year. During that time, the SOL-based meme coin’s market cap surged to $28 million while it’s now well over $1.2 billion. Joe McCann, founder of Asymmetric Financial, mentioned that they were one of the first institutional investors to venture into the meme coin sector. Given the overall success of Solana-based cryptocurrencies, it’s easy to see why other institutional investors have followed suit, and why SOL’s price soared massively these past few quarters.
