Africa’s leading tech talent incubator, The Bulb Africa, is set to host the first edition of its Devthon event!

Devthon 1.0 is a one-day event curated for developers. The event will feature a developer’s workshop, product pitch, keynote sessions, the graduation ceremony of The Bulb’s cohort 3 fellows, and more!

Activities like the developer workshop would be an interactive session where notable developers would speak on certain aspects of software engineering. Keynote sessions will also feature outstanding tech professionals and entrepreneurs who will make presentations discussing critical areas in a developer’s journey.

Finally, the main event of the day is set to be the graduation ceremony from the Fellowship at The Bulb program. Fellowship at The Bulb is a 4–6-month training program that offers practical experiences in courses such as JavaScript, DevOps, Data Analytics, and more.

At Devthon 1.0, fellows of the 3rd cohort of this program who have successfully scaled through will be graduating and presented with their certificates. There will also be a product/project pitch session where these fellows can showcase their work and possibly secure employment from sponsors and partners.
