Leading Creative Director, Tayo Kalejaiye, has joined the outstanding team building the world’s 1st human-centric metaverse - Vault Hill City (VHC). As the Head of Gaming. Tayo brings a wealth of experience in gaming, NFT, and augmented reality that will upscale the game development in VHC.

With over 15 years’ experience spanning across Graphic Design, Film Production, Game Development and Animation, Tayo has worked with a number of high-end brands and gaming projects directly with presence from Jay-z’s ROC nation.

His passion for collecting comic books and action figures in the 90's fueled a burning curiousity about NFTs. However, he took a keen interest in Virtual and Augmented Reality while enrolled for an MA in Digital Film and Animation from NMTC Dublin, where he created an interactive short film driven by Augmented Reality.

Since then, he has created notable projects such as the 3D visualisation of the Bill & Melinda Gates office (in collaboration with a prominent architecture firm in West Africa), and 'Money Run', a mobile game for Davido, one of Africa’s biggest performing artists.

Likewise, he has created projects for brands like Netflix, Apple, Grey Goose Vodka, MTV Base, Hennessy, and First Bank to name a few. As a testament of his outstanding work, Tayo has also been awarded a MegaGrant from EPIC GAMES (creators of Fortnite) to further develop an animated short film, 'City of Light', using cutting edge AI Motion Capture Technology.

“We are delighted to have Tayo lead the game development for Vault Hill City. We were all impressed by the contribution, ideas and solutions he proffered within a very short time of meeting and discussing with some of our team members.

He is savvy in the NFT ecosystem and understands the bridge between NFTs & Gaming. As we prepare for the full release of our metaverse in Q4, 2022, his extensive gaming experience will be valuable in the creation of exciting immersive experiences in our metaverse”, says Vault Hill’s CEO, Jimi Daodu.

Tayo’s determination to change the narrative and advance the animation industry especially in West Africa, also saw him become a collector and thought leader within the NFT community. He hosts Clubhouse rooms and Twitter Spaces where he shares knowledge about blockchain technology and inspires many young African creatives to participate in Web 3.0.

According to Tayo, “I've been a dreamer, a creator, a collector and a tech enthusiast my entire life, so Web 3.0 already feels like home. I believe with the brilliant minds at Vault Hill, we really are building a different kind of metaverse”.

The soon-to-launch metaverse, Vault Hill City, is designed to enhance human experiences by focusing on the basic human instincts which allow users, content creators and developers to explore their creativity and monetise their content in the secure ecosystem. The Vault Hill ecosystem consists of VHC (the metaverse), NFT marketplace, avatars, and XR consulting. Users should anticipate mind-blowing experiences as they explore various aspects of themselves, interact with other users, play games, host and attend events, build and acquire digital assets, and so much more.
