Here are the confirmed speakers for the Africa Mobility Conference

The Africa Mobility Conference will be held at Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos, on Thursday, June 2, 2022.

The conference will have some of the most brilliant minds and stakeholders in the transportation sector, including government and private players. With plans to engineer extensive discussions on policies and environmental drivers for mobility growth and sustainable business models, and tech innovations in the sector, there will be two panel sessions.

Enahoro Okhae

Enahoro Okhae (Mr Leverage) is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of GIG Mobility. He was the Managing Director of Pause Factory (West African Partner to 6 Seconds Emotional Intelligence Network USA).

He is also the Co-founder of GlobalCerts and Strategy (Nigerian Delivery Partner for The KPI Institute Australia).

Okhae is the founder of Simeon's Pivot Resources; a leading Human Resource and Management Consulting Firm, and he is the President of the Life Coaches Association of Nigeria (LCAN)

Abimbola Akinajo

Abimbola Akinajo is the Managing Director of Lagos Metropolitan Area Transport Authority (LAMATA). She is a seasoned chartered civil engineer with over 25 years of experience designing and constructing major transport infrastructure projects, especially in the rail industry. Akinajo is a member of the Institution of Civil Engineers (MICE), the Nigeria Society of Engineers (NSE), and the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN).

She will be delivering the first keynote speech and is a panellist in the session discussing policies and environmental drivers for mobility growth.

Adebowale Adeniyi

Adebowale Adeniyi is the MD/CEO of CENGSSUD Sustainability Services Ltd, with more than 20 years of experience in providing strategic consulting and project management services for sustainable management of Environment, Social and Governance (ESG).  

This covers aspects of investments by Development Financial Institutions (DFI), including IFC (International Finance Corporation), World Bank, AFDB, Investment Banks, Private Equity (PE) & Venture Capital (VC) Funds, for complex industrial/commercial establishments and other projects. 

He will be joining the panel discussion on policies and environmental drivers for mobility growth. 

Dr Frederic Oladeinde

Dr Frederic Abimbola Oladeinde is the Lagos State Commissioner for Transportation. He has worked in the transport industry for over 20 years. Before his appointment, he was the Director of Corporate and Investment Planning with the Lagos Metropolitan Area Transport Authority (LAMATA).

Dr Frederic will be delivering the opening note speech and join other panellists in discussing policies and environmental drivers for mobility growth. 

Tayo Oyegunle

Tayo Oyegunle is the Chief Operations Officer at Moove Africa. He has experience working in the mobility industry and the investment banking sector. He was the Vice President of Global Operations at Kobo360. Before Kobo360, Tayo served as the Country Manager for Uber Nigeria, where he managed the company's growth in three major cities in Nigeria: Lagos, Abuja, and Benin City. 

He had a brief stint at Credit Suisse, New York, where he served as an investment banker, handling transactions involving Fortune 500 clients in the consumer, retail, and financial services sectors. 

Akachukwu Okafor

Akachukwu Okafor is the Chief Technical Officer (CTO) of Shuttlers Mobility, a tech-enabled shared-mobility platform transforming how individuals and businesses move in Nigeria.

He is a tech leader who has spent the last ten years of his career building successful technology products for local and global organisations that solve some of Africa's biggest challenges. 

Akachukwu has led fintech software development teams at TechAdvance, and Schoolable in the past. He built Payed, a payment processing platform for businesses in Africa. 

Edward Mbogo

Edward Mbogo is the Co-founder and Chief Operating Officer (COO) of MyRide Africa. MyRide Africa is a mobility startup based in Kenya using technology to make public transportation convenient, safe, and fun.  

Edward Mbogo considers himself a self-motivated, dynamic and forward-thinking go-getter with a purpose. He is an entrepreneur who loves Art, Music, Technology, Traveling, Marketing, Nature and Good Food. 

He will be joining other panellists to discuss sustainable business models and tech innovations in the mobility space.  

Joseph Osanipin

Joseph Osanipin is the Director of Strategy and Operations at JET Motor Company. He is a financial and audit expert with a wealth of experience acquired while working in the trading and financial industries as an Accountant, Auditor, IT Auditor, and Business Manager. 

Osanipin is a hands-on consultant with expertise in risk management, finance, tax, microfinance, financial training, IT implementation, and IT audit.

He will be contributing to the discussion on policies and environmental drivers for mobility growth.

Ocholi Etu

Ocholi Etu is the Director of Operations at GIG Logistics Technologies Limited (GIGL). GIGL is a leading logistics solutions provider for social/eCommerce merchants in Africa.

Ocholi is a renowned leader in the management and supply chain field with many years of industry experience working for various world-class logistics companies. 

He is a recipient of many awards and certifications in logistics, supply chain and management. 

Ocholi will be joining other panelists to discuss sustainable business models and tech innovations in the transportation sector.
