About 80 Nigerians indicted in America
Yesterday, we read news that about 80 individuals, most of them Nigerians, were indicted by a United States federal grand jury for their involvement in a massive conspiracy steal millions of dollars, now being referred to as "the largest Internet fraud in U.S. history".

According to a report published by the U.S. Attorneys Office for the Central District of California, the defendants carried out the crimes through a "variety of fraud schemes and launder the funds through a Los Angeles-based money laundering network."
This is coming barely a week after the arrest of Nigerian billionaire and CEO of Invictus Group, Obinwanne Okeke by the he Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) over $11 million fraud.

Social hangouts in Kenya to be closed during census
Starting from tomorrow, August 24, 2019, Kenya will begin its week-long population and housing census, its first in census since 2009.
