Aba-based online tailoring solution startup, Dresnice, is a contemporary hybrid fashion brand, that allows users customise clothes, schedule laundry, and get styled.

Adimuchinobi Chukwuma founded Dresnice on July 5, 2017, alongside Ezeh Chekwube, the Chief Technology Officer. "Our business is to optimise our customer’s lifestyle; make living smarter," the founder says.

The tailoring platform is quite easy to use. Upon signing up, you generate your measurements, select and pair your fabric with chosen style, configure and update the design, then check out and generate an invoice. When payment is made, delivery is done within 14 days.

Listing foreign contemporary fashion brands like Zara, Gap, Jayosbie, Dressmeout.com as competitors, Dresnice believes by gracing users with unique western-inspired designs (Ankara and likes), it wouldn't be pushed aside in a hurry.

Tailoring solution is all-encompassing. So Dresnice isn't stopping at just sewing custom fabric designs. Hence, with its innovative eCommerce platform and an agile cloth retailing model, the startup intends to break down geographical barriers and connect one-third of African tailors to local and international market. This, according to the founder with not only give customers a convenient fashion shopping experience but also connect Aba graduate tailors to local/ international markets under its brand.

Chukwuma further claims that their goal is to mitigate challenges faced by those in the tailoring business such as inadequate know-how, lack of access to market and logistics, lack of funds for mass production, public acceptance, poor packaging, and standardisation.

Although Dresnice is currently in its pilot phase with the launched beta product -- which only offers the customising solution -- it will release other solutions after beta phase in 5 months time, the founder says.
