Startup Profile: Track A Mechanic — find a verified mechanic within minutes

by | Sep 11, 2017

An unexpected car breakdown could be so embarrassing, especially when one is en route a very important meeting. TrackAMechanic intends to remedy such occurrences by making it easy to access reliable and affordable car repairs within minutes of breakdown.

Co-founded by Peter Chibuzor (CEO), Tope kolade (COO) and Martinz Bright (CTO), the auto-startup launched on June 1, 2017, after testing their value proposition.

Our goal is to provide emergency solutions and repairs to challenging situations — which include difficulty in identifying hands on deck mechanic services — and achieving effective vehicle maintenance in Nigeria. We are a dedicated team of young techpreneurs with adequate insight in vehicle repairs, finance, technology and digital marketing.

According to the team, mechanics enlisted on the platform have professional experiences in their field. They are also scrutinised for background, criminal and reference checks. For credibility, these details — years of experience, job skills, specialisations, feedback, etc  — are made open to customers on the website.

To further deliver on their value proposition, customers are allowed to monitor service progress via TrackAMechanic’s integrated satellite geolocation map, which also enables users to locate services in real time. The team claims they monitor constantly, the performance of mechanics to ensure customers are provided with professional and courteous services.

You may request your next mechanic at the website.
