BookBus is an online startup that allows travellers to make bus reservations for inter-city travels. The startup was launched on April 2, 2017, by Ebere Chinedu who doubles as founder and business development manager.

The user enters travel details, selects preferred bus, then make payment. After payment has been confirmed, the user would receive an email with the bus ticket.

Clearly, online reservation and booking for buses is a highly competitive space. Ebere made this obvious when he said: "Competition already exists in the market". However, listing Gigm.com, Bus.com.ng, emytrip.com.ng, and a couple of other players, he believes BookBus has an edge with its flexible pricing option, and fast booking services.

BookBus also provides tours to fun places and a direct transit to NYSC camps. The latter especially helps to eliminate the stressful queues corp members face in the bid to obtain travel tickets. Summing up these features, the founder feels confident to play in the highly saturated space.
