If you are a woman in tech in Africa dedicated to entrepreunalism and innovation, the 2016 TechWomen program is for you.
TechWomen connects and supports the next generation of women leaders in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) from Africa, Central Asia and the Middle East by providing them the access and opportunities to advance their careers and pursue their dreams. This laudable project is an initiative of the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA). It is managed by the Institute of International Education (IIE)
The TechWomen program will be from September – October 2016 in the San Fransisco Bay Area and Washington DC. It would include mentoring, workshops and supporting provision for the women involved.
An important catch is that if your application is considered, all costs that would be inccured during the TechWomen program would be covered by the organizers.
