Uber has just announced Bankole Cardoso as the company’s new Abuja General Manager, as they make known plans to expand the ride-sharing service to the city of Abuja. Until quite recently, Bankole Cardoso was CEO and Co-Founder of Easy Taxi for the better part of the last 2 years, before he decided to exit the company.
“I am profoundly honoured to join Uber , and very much look forward to working with the global teams to further enrich the consumer experience on and offline,” Cardoso said in a statement. “I have always admired the innovation and impact Uber has on people’s lives and hope in some small way I can help contribute to the company’s continued success and leadership in changing the world.”
Cardoso will join Uber this June in what appears to be a first move, in many, by Uber to expand aggressively across Nigeria.
